Q. How do I join the parish?
To join the parish simply fill out the Newcomer Form found in the Bell Tower of the church and return to the office by placing in the collection plate, mailing or faxing to the office, or download a copy here and print it. If you are already an Episcopalian, complete the form including the request that your membership be transferred from your previous parish. If you are new to The Episcopal Church plan on attending an "Inquirers Class" or speak to Fr. Reans. The Inquirer's Class is intended for those who either simply want more information about the Episcopal Church and/or want to be formally Received or Confirmed into the Episcopal Church by the Bishop.

Q. How do I arrange for a Baptism at the church?
Baptisms are always performed in the context of Holy Eucharist during Sunday Services. There are no private baptisms. Please contact Fr. Reans to set up a date for Baptism and to arrange for pre-baptismal instruction. Download the Information Sheet of the Sacrament of Holy Baptism here.

Q. How do I enroll my child in Sunday School?
You may register your child at any time during the school year by using the online registration form or by bringing your child/children to Sunday School and filling out a registration form in person. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall classrooms. The teachers bring them to the Church at The Peace to join their families. To enroll your child online click here.

Q. How may I be confirmed in the Episcopal Church?
Young people are prepared for Confirmation by attending Sunday School classes in the 7th and 8th grade. Adults may prepare to be confirmed or received (if already confirmed in another church) by arrangement with Fr. Reans.

Q. What are the requirements for having a wedding at St. Peter's Episcopal Church?
The Church Canons now require a minimum of 30 days notice in order to officiate at "A Celebration and Blessing of a Marriage". Please be certain to allow ample time to clear the dates for rehearsal and ceremony with the rector BEFORE finalizing your reception plans. An information pamphlet can be downloaded here. Q. How do I arrange for a funeral?
Please phone the parish office or Fr. Reans at the phone number listed for pastoral emergencies. The Prayer Book directs that "the death of a member of the Church should be reported as soon as possible to, and arrangements for the funeral should be made in consultation with the Minister of the Congregations". (BCP pg. 468) This is important for many reasons, not the least of which is that it provides the clergy with the opportunity to offer their pastoral ministry as well as that of the parish. Under no circumstances should the day and time for a funeral be set without first consulting with the clergy.

Burial privileges in the St. Peter's Churchyard or in the Memorial Garden are available for eligible communicants of this Parish.

Q. How can I leave a legacy to St. Peter's?
Download a copy of our Planned Giving pamphlet for more information.

Q. How do I place a name on the Prayer List and/or Prayer Chain?
To place a name on the prayer list, call or e-mail the office. Those who are placed on the prayer list will be listed in the Sunday bulletin for 4 weeks unless the office is notified otherwise. These people are prayed for at each service on Sunday. To place a name on the Prayer Chain, e-mail apfatum@yahoo.com. The name is then e-mailed out to all those on our prayer chain list.

Q. How do I obtain a copy of St. Peter's newsletter "The Messenger"?
Click here to download the latest issue.

Q. Can I rent the Church or any of St. Peter's other facilities?
We do not rent out our church or facilities to outside persons or organizations.
